Welcome to the website of Lutterworth & District Choral Society (informally Lutterworth Choral). We concluded an eventful year on a high with our spectacular Christmas Concert on December 6th at a packed St. Mary’s Church, Lutterworth. Enderby Brass Ensemble provided fitting festive accompaniment to an evening of Christmas classics and a stunning £900 was raised for Leicestershire and Rutland Blood Bikes. A huge thankyou to David Hull who delivered a brief talk on the work of this excellent local charity and also to all those who gave so generously to the collection! Joy was mixed with sadness as this was our final concert with our popular Music Director Sarah Stephens. It has been an incredible journey that we have had the privilege to share with her since her arrival in 2021. As much as we will miss Sarah, we look forward greatly to the arrival of Philip Millward who will take up his role as our new MD in January.

In memoriam: Regretfully, over the past year, we have suffered the loss of four much-loved Choir members (past and present). We acknowledge the passing of Mick Curtis, Christine Sidey, Geraldine Tew and Mary Woodward. We are thankful for their contributions to the Society and we pay tribute to lives well-lived.
